Delete your account

Deleting your SamaKasa account erases your personal data immediately and permanently: your profile, your household's lists, receipt images, cash entries, and their edit history. This cannot be undone, and there is nothing to download afterwards, so export anything you want to keep first.

If you are the helper

  1. Open SamaKasa and sign in with your phone number.
  2. Open your household page from the home screen.
  3. Scroll to Delete account and tap Delete my account.
  4. Read the confirmation, then tap Yes, delete my account.

Your account and your record are erased straight away. If you were linked to an employer, the link ends and the household keeps nothing of yours beyond that point.

If you are the employer

  1. Open SamaKasa and sign in with your phone number.
  2. Open your dashboard.
  3. Scroll to the bottom to Delete account and tap Delete my account.
  4. Read the confirmation, then tap Yes, delete my account.

Your account is erased straight away. Your helper keeps her own record and her free account; the link between you simply ends.

Deleting does not cancel a store subscription

If you subscribed to the employer dashboard, the subscription is billed by Apple or Google. Deleting your SamaKasa account does not cancel it, so cancel first in the subscription settings of the App Store or Google Play to avoid further charges.

Cannot sign in?

Email support@samakasa.com from the phone number or address on the account. We will verify it is you and delete the account for you.
